JOB DUTIES:

Before Gates Open

  • Attend the Usher and Ticket Taker game day meeting to learn about specific events happening at the ballpark.
  • Read the game day notes provided by the Front Office Staff.
  • Report to your assignment immediately following the game day meeting.
  • Inspect your section and ensure seats are clean and there is no garbage or other debris in or around your section. Wipe seats down.
  • Inspect your area for standing water and notify the cleaning crew immediately if water needs to be removed.

After Gates Open

  • Acknowledge fans that are approaching your section and greet them with a smile.
  • Seat fans by 1) reading fan's ticket 2) walk fan to their seat and 3) wipe seat with chamois.

During the Game

  • Walk the stairs of your section after every ½ inning.
  • Collect trash with a black garbage bags after the 3rd and 7th
  • Participate in choreographed dances or other skits to entertain fans in your section or in other areas of the ballpark.
  • Survey your sections for unauthorized fans.
  • Watch for any fan standing against railings behind each section.
  • Assist with leading crowd in cheers during promotions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Usher/Bag Check:

JOB DUTIES:

  • Attend the Usher and Ticket Taker game day meeting to learn about specific events happening at the ballpark for that day's game.
  • Read the game day notes provided by the Front Office Staff.
  • Report to your assigned area immediately following the game day meeting. Assigned area is either bag check at gate 1 or gate 3.
  • Inspect all bags, purses, diaper bags, backpacks, rolled up blankets, jackets, etc. of all fans entering ballpark.
  • Be courteous and polite while asking fans to open their bags and while conducting the search.
  • Report suspicious activity/persons or any type of weapon to a supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Usher/Elevator:

  • Attend the Usher and Ticket Taker game day meeting to learn about specific events happening at the Ballpark for that day's game and also read the game day notes provided by the Front Office Staff.
  • Verify Luxury Suite Tickets before allowing any fans to enter the Luxury Suite Level.
  • Verify appropriate credentials for any person wishing to visit the Press Box area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Usher/Beach & Picnic Area:

Before Gates Open

  • Attend the Usher and Ticket Taker game day meeting to learn about specific events happening at the ballpark.
  • Read the game day notes provided by the Front Office Staff.
  • Report to your assignment immediately following the game day meeting.
  • Set up beach chairs for beach and inspect your section to ensure there is no garbage or other debris in or around the beach or picnic area.
  • Inspect your area for standing water and notify the cleaning crew immediately if water needs to be removed.

After Gates Open

  • Acknowledge fans that are approaching your section and greet them with a smile.
  • Seat fans by 1) reading fans ticket & make sure proper wristband is worn 2) welcome fans to beach or picnic area and 3) wipe seat down with chamois for beach

During the Game

  • Make sure trash is collected and beach/picnic area stays clean.
  • Participate in choreographed dances or other skits to entertain fans in your section or in other areas of the ballpark.
  • In beach area, blow the whistle for foul balls and generally have fun with the fans.
  • Survey your sections for unauthorized fans.
  • Make sure people do not go over rail (beach) or lean into netting (picnic).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
